As a long time vocabularian, casual writer, and lyricist I can’t escape from my love of words. Earlier this year, Ammon Shea’s book, Reading the OED – One Man, One Year, 21,730 Pages, inspired me to create art based on the most visual of definitions. Additionally, the style of Veer’s Type City also inspired the use of serious but truly “breathy” grays.

The current purpose of this blog project is to represent a weekly creation of a word beautiful or witty in definition within a well-designed space of typography.
